I noticed on the video of Bush that he’s still trying to peddle the line item veto..What part of the line item veto being unconstitutional doesn’t he understand.?

I can see the rebellious child in Bush. He doesn’t like to be told he can’t have his own way. Not a good quality to carry into adulthood.

Have now seen the tape. He reminded me of watching someone who can’t swim desperately trying to tread water. You’re correct. He totally lost it, with even his arms flailing about. My question is, why does he keep talking and just shoving his foot into his mouth deeper and deeper? He could have let his answer stand after the first one or two sentences, but he just kept rambling on. Bizarre.

Of course, but it’s hard to believe the courtiers didn’t anticipate a question about the Taylor decision and prep His Highness for it.

I haven’t seen the tape yet as of writing this, but, based on what I’ve seen before, Bush is totally dependent on others to develop his talking points for him. It’s pretty clear that the decision against the government caught the BushCo crowd by surprise, and as reporters began to ask questions of various administration personnel, you didn’t see the usual pre-rehearsed meme. I think Bush just panics when he hasn’t been spoon-fed his one-liners and this was probably one more instance.

Uh-oh, if he muff’s THAT stuff, we all need to worry. He didn’t just lose his train of thought, the entire choo-choo went off the rails and down the cliff.
He needs more hate and war.
Can anyone spell I-R-A-N? How about N-U-K-E? It’s not just the “N” that they have in common, there’s also a “W” there somewhere. It’s just silent – for now…

The judge who ruled against the wiretaps made one powerful statement..There is no power that exceeds the Constitution. Bush can claim that we don’t understand the nature of the supposed enemy, but it won’t overcome the truth of the judges statement. As it stands now…Bush is a criminal.

And I absolutely hate when Bush parrots his..” If al Qaida is calling” bullshit line. It’s an affront to intelligence and reason and grates against my emotions.

You’re right, I should have added “as usual.”
But, if you ever notice, when he talks about war and violence, he never misses a syllable. He actually looks and sounds like he’s sort-of competent. Look at the video’s. It’s because he likes war and violence.
It’s when he’s trying to be empathetic that his ticks, twitches and malapropism’s are abundantly evident. That’s because he doesn’t have an empathetic bone in his head, let alone his body.
Freud, Jung and Adler would have loved to study this boy…
