The no-show today is not important. In my twisted little mind, I envision meetings all night in Jordan between Bush flunkies and Maliki flunkies. Bush is desparate to save face and a second no-show tomorrow is a public extension of the middle finger by Maliki for the world to see. Bush had intended to tell Maliki what the 'plan' is. The content suggested that Maliki is unaware how bad things are in Baghdad, or incapable of affecting those events.
