The exchange was hilarious. it just proves that these far right racist dimwits are only good for being republican mouthpieces. they tow the party line no matter how absurd a bush policy may be, constantly refering to our founding fathers one of whic said those who are willing to sacrifice freedom for security deserve neither(Benjamen Franklin). but when it was revealed that bush had a huge nsa monitoring system set up that was not only listening in on foriegn calls which seemed suspicious but regular americans phone calls and e mails retired a t t workers were able to confirm this. the moron talk show hosts and callers response was hey if u dont got nothing to hide then u shouldn t worry about it, thats not the point dittoheads and all other tragically stupid white callers to the show I,m white to by the way. If any1 calls with an opposing point of view that these idiots cant respond to they quickly attack them as a liberal and hang up on them. God i could go on @on @on @on but I dont have the time Rush Libaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark laVin my god what an idiot he is all he does is scream in his high pitched castrato sounding voice. These people are nothing but dumb muscle for the republicans those who somehow agree are even worse I m startin to think that u should have to take a test that you know at least what your voting for or against b4 voting cus the stupidity of some of these voters is scary and what there doin affects lives.

Let's see... I remember Nixon in Moscow, and it took a while, but we managed to negotiated them into going away. Nixon started nogotiation with China and now we're so close that they own most of W's new debt. The UK finally sat down with the IRA and they disarmed - still a ways to go there, but progress. W is currently negotiating with Iran and Syria over issues in Iraq. W negotiated with North Korea and ended yet another nuclear crisis there...

I dunno, USpace, but it seems to me that talking to our enemies has a history of making things better. Even W seems to know that, except when he wants to take a political cheap shot.

Seems like USpace is in the wrong space - you think? Why doesn't anyone realize that the more something is opposed, the stronger it gets? We've tried force in the middle east, and look where it's gotten us. Negotiation is not appeasement, but then Bush wouldn't know the difference - he's still saying "nucular" instead of nuclear.

.
The terrorist monkey can not be negotiated with. The only reason to maybe talk to Ahmadamadmonkey in say maybe Switzerland is to provoke him by debating his ideology and criticizing his hatred. Force him to say lots of stupid and insane things which would be widely publicized thus educating more people to his ideology's insanity. This, I am quite sure, Obama would never do.

Ouch, Obama and the poor little Dems were hit a little too close to home by what GW said. It's one of the best things Bush has ever said. Bravo! And he didn't even have to mention the Dhimmicrats or any body's name.

So sure, then he folded in Saudi Arabia, but what he said in Israel almost makes that OK.

God of the Universe says
appease the appeasers

don't embarrass them
by calling them appeasers

Even though it was painful, I so enjoyed the exchange - if that's the word for it - with Tweety and the right wing screamer. And I was pleased how the Air America guy held his cool (and said so) and tried to help out.

Someone should remind the Republicans that it was Republican President Herbert Hoover and his Sec. of State (retained at State during FDR's first term) who devised the policy of "Appeasement" in response to the Japanese invasion of Manchuria...

Long before Mr. Chamberlain and his umbrella went to Munich.

Isn't this mouth piece just a reflection of our education system and the extent of history taught in the public school system? If a historic figure can't be spoken about in one word or so then its not worth even talking about! Neville = weak ; Reagan = god/great president ;
Bush = strong willed ; democrats = liberal (i.e. bad/weak refer to Neville).

No time for in depth analysis or for anything that would take longer than 30 seconds to talk about. Why? Because today we need a more balanced "social studies" education and not just history.

Well, PFT...it IS óut there´ that Werner VonBraun of V1-2 rocket fame for the Nazis, and Apollo/Saturn 5 fame for the US...actually told his long time secretary I believe it was, that after the, at that time in the future... ´terrist´ threat had run it´s due course, it would then indeed be those nasty aliens that would be hyped as the next useful and dire existential threat! And he was speaking 30 or more years ago! Given his Project Paperclip connections and subsequent position and contacts; he probably had some ´reliable sources´....
