More Apologizing to the Dead

Start your weekend right by listening to Alan Grayson and Ed Shultz discussing how to fight back. When hit by Republican smears that Grayson is “unstable”, Grayson replied:

GRAYSON: My response is WHATEVER. America is sick of you, Republican Party. You are a LIE FACTORY – that’s all you ever do. Why don’t you work together with the Democrats to solve America’s problems instead of making stuff up?

Personally, I can’t get enough of this guy’s attitude. Go Alan!

  1. It’s beyond clear that being poor in America these days is literally the kiss of death. If the sole breadwinner of a family of four earning minimum wage, $15,800/year, has to buy private health insurance for himself and family, it will cost him about $13,000/year.

Forced to live on $230/month is the kiss of death.

  2. I used to dislike talks like this as it demeans the whole thing. After seeing Rs turning complete Retards, you need much more of this. Dems in general are spineless and you have media spouting talking points of a disgraced party, you need something like this to counter.

  3. I’d like Grayson to say to the Right, Can’t you guys do anything other than pass wind because all you’re doing right now is stinking up this building.

  4. Grayson had the opportunity on CNN’s Situation Room to confirm that John Boehner is a Neanderthal…and he didn’t take it.. What’s with that? It seems to me that if I was called on, like Grayson, to explain my usage of the term Neanderthal in describing GOP politicians… Then who better to illustrate that concept than John Boehner. Nobody in the GOP fulfills that definition as well as Boehner does. He’s a primitive intellect who can’t elevate this thoughts beyond the GOP tribal mentality of destroy anything that threatens the tribe. Boehner can’t reason outside of the dictates of the GOP tribe..He’s a Neanderthal!

  5. We need more Dems speaking the way Rep. Grayson is. The Senate Majority Whip, Senator Dick Durbin would be a good one to raise a little hell. He sure has been keeping a low profile lately.

  6. I like him. He gives as good as he gets, if not better…
The right-wingers have their collective tit’s and nut’s in a knot because he uses their verbiage and methods against them and attacks them.
Good for him. Now, keep going. And, would it be too much to ask to wake up a few other Dems besides Wiener and Frank?

  7. A democrat with balls, we could be onto something here.

I think he’s the exception, not the rule! Most of the Democrats I’m seeing could be classified as invertebrates.

  8. I am glad you are feeling better!

I must say, the repugs will think long and hard before they demand another apology from Grayson!

  9. It is really interesting to watch the GOP’s response to Grayson. When he first when on the floor of the House and called them out on their inaction on health care reform, the expressed their usual mock outrage and demanded an apology. Instead of being the usual servile Dem who apologized with their head down and scurried back into the shadows, never to be heard from again, Grayson went on the Situation Room and started firing with both barrels. Leslie (Wolf) Blitzer and the others were dumbfounded and all began attacking him at once – something I have never seen in my life. It was shocking to see the way they ganged up on a guest – when was the last Republican they did that to? Anyway, Grayson again didn’t back down. Now, there seems to be an eerie silence from the right. Like most bullies, they really don’t know how to deal with someone who fights back. I’m sure Karl Rove’s cell phone is ringing constantly from Repubs seeking advice on how to get back at him. They haven’t been in this predicament since Paul Wellstone died in 2002. Let’s hope Grayson doesn’t go anywhere on a small plane anytime soon.

  10. Sorry, I was tired when I typed that last post. The first part should read: “It is really interesting to watch the GOP’s response to Grayson. When Grayson first spoke on the floor of the House and called the Republicans out regading their inaction on health care reform, they expressed their usual mock outrage and demanded an apology. Instead of being the usual servile Dem who apologizes with head bowed and then scurries back into the shadows never to be heard from again, Grayson went on the Situation Room and started firing with both barrels. ”

    My bad.

  11. Finally, a democrat with balls and a backbone. We need more like him. You GO Grayson, tell it like it is.

  12. Now, there seems to be an eerie silence from the right.

Well, not entirely. They’ve been whooping it up over Chicago getting shut down in its Olympics bid. Oh, why does the Right hate America so?!
