  1. Haven’t seen this on other sites yet and I thought it may have been the work of Anonymous, but then I remembered that their organized attacks were set for Fridays.

  2. He won’t be missed by me. I’ve wondered, though, whether his temper tantrums and general erratic behavior were connected to this.

  3. I had no use for the man – couldn’t stand him.
    I’m sorry for his family.

And since I can’t say anything nice, all I’ll say is that it’s sad that he didn’t live long enough to see the error of his ways.
    That’s all I got…

  4. I can’t claim any special knowledge, but “suddenly from natural causes” often implies a heart attack. Especially in middle aged men with demonstrated anger issues.

  5. Truth be told, the world will miss a musical Monkee far more than it will this rabid ape.

    Sorry, I tried…

  6. Gund, I think you’re right. Many more will miss Davy Jones, even if he hadn’t been active as a singer for years. He is/was a connection back to our youth, gave pleasure to many people through his singing and through memories of concerts attended, etc.

  7. For me the sadness lies in Victoria Jackson losing her only friend, and James O’Keefe his Daddy Bear. Such lonely folks they will be now.

  8. joan,
I was wondering the same thing.

What are all of the little ratf*ckers going to do now that the King Ratf*cker is gone to his, uhm… “reward?”

They can’t all be hired by CNN, like Dana Do*che.

Oh, wait – there are plenty of Wingnut Welfare programs in America to support the stupid, ignorant, racist, misogynistic, xeno and homophobic, mentally backward, and emotionally scarred, ratf*ckers in the country – as long as they stay loyal ratf*ckers.

    So, neeeeever miiiiiind…

  9. Hell is a little more full today. He was a despicable human being who did very little good in this world, as far as I can see. There really isn’t anything more to say.

  10. Wasn’t it Breitbart who plastered the internet with a picture of Anthony Weiner’s package?

  11. Already it’s a new conspiracy theory. And we are appalled with the riots in the mid-east over mistreatment of the Koran.

  12. Yes, apparently Bill & Hillary Clinton added another notch to their poison-dart guns!

  13. OY!
I thought I was being sarcastic when I posted that above.
Take a look at these comments:
It turns out that I’m having computer problems, so I can’t link it (just wtf I need with my UI ending either this week, or in two weeks!) – so, check Buzzcom.com on your own.
    “Teh stoopid iz umazzing!”

Apparently, I forgot the era I was living in – where truth is so much f*cking stranger than fiction, it would make Umberto Eco blush.
And it turns out that I was completely wrong. It wasn’t Bill and Hillary who killed Breitbart – it was… wait for it… OBAMA!!!
    BWA-HA-HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  14. “where truth is so much f*cking stranger than fiction, it would make Umberto Eco blush.”
    Quote of the Week!

Yes, it was Obama, or his minions.

  15. It just seems to balance things out – we lose Davy Jones and angry Breibart. Light and Dark are back in balance on planet Earth.

  16. I take no joy in Andrew Breitbart’s death, but I won’t miss his provocative and mendacious agitprop. After seeing the tape of his hissy fit at the CPAC protesters, I guessed it might only be a matter of time until his rage did him in, and it did. At least he will not be defaming anyone else.

  17. “Before his sudden death early Thursday morning at age 43, conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart was facing a defamation suit filed by Shirley Sherrod, the former U.S. Agriculture Department official who was forced to step down from her job after Breitbart posted edited clips on his site of a speech Sherrod was giving to the NAACP that made her appear racist.”

    From http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/307653/20120301/andrew-breitbart-death-shirley-sherrod.htm

Shirley Sherod was not a public figure, not a member of the Obama cabinet. She never saw the train that ran her over. Andrew Breitbart was driving that train.

  18. May he rest in peace. He never seemed to have any on earth and in fact made the lives of many others far from peaceful including Shirley Sherrod who in shining example of forgiveness offered her sincere condolences.

  19. Everyone dies eventually. But if you act like a dick, you’ll be remembered as a dick. And that’s how I’ll always remember Breitbart.

    BEHAVE YOURSELVES!!!!!!

  20. When Senator Kennedy died in 2009 breibart tweeted “rest in chappaquiddick” and called the Senator a “special pile of human excrement”…..And THIS is the hero of tea baggers everywhere!.How sad. Excuse me if I cannot find it in myself to mourn the passing of someone so toxic to our country. But lets face it, people who spout this kind of dribble ARE the problem that polarizes the political landscape of this country.

breibart was full of ugly raging HATE. He didnt disagree with the ideals of liberals. I am not even sure he could see thru his hate far enough to understand what liberals believe.
He reminded me of the kids I used to watch in grade school on the play ground. One child would do something to another and other kids would laugh at the mean ness and the kid would continue the behavior to get continued approval. The more they reacted the further the kid took it. We are trying thru national campaigns to stop children from behaving that way, but when are we going to get to the adults???

IF breibart and his party had better ideas than the “liberals” he so loathed that would have been one thing to just get those ideas out there and let them stand on their own. But that was not his goal..his goal was to”take down” and destroy everyone who was on the other side of the political isle. I could give a shit less what party someone like that is from , we have NO use for such tabloid behavior when such serious issues are at stake.

This whole faux news, nancy grace, tabloid media era is nonsense and it has STOPPED
progress in our great nation and replaced it by blind hate. The breibarts of the world act like they have done this country some great favor . I am sure the national inquirer also feels they have provided us a great service also..

When your party DOESNT have better ideas, when you have nothing useful to contribute to making the country better you go digging for dirt then you shove penis photos in the face of America as a “gottcha” moment. And boy were we ever saved there right? Dont you just sleep better at night knowing someone who showed a women a photo of his junk is gone? Taken down by someone so morally rightous he makes comments the likes of breibarts Kennedy tweets? On ward christian soldiers!?

Again I could give a crap less what party this kind of SHIT comes from there is no room for it in political discourse. Why on earth have we, as a nation, not given the boot to such behavior? Trust me it can be drummed back under the rock from which it crawled with enough disapproval. When the adults at the table tell the little tattling children we have no time for such childish things! Go away child , grown folks are talking here about the serious matters we need to solve to move forward.

When history looks back on this period in time it wont be pretty. What will they say about the breibarts and becks? But more important what will they say about the people
who were all too eager to give a stage to it,in their heads, let alone in the countries discussion?

But here is the big picture question. Ask yourself this. What is the goal of these people in making the country so divided? What do they hope to but making us hate one another? What is their end game? What kind of kids will they raise living by breibarts ideals?

I wish peace,my prayers and best wishes to his family. However I am sorry to say his passing is meaningless to the rest of us in the world because he contributed nothing positive to his country what so ever

  21. justme277.
    Great piece!

When you have no ideas, nothing to offer, you create a vacuum that needs to be filled, since nature abhors a vacuum. And they fill that with hate, fear and violent rhetoric – aka: Divide and Conquor.”

Hate, fear, and violence, spread, and can often lead to victory. And then you hold power ruthlessly utilizing that unholy trilogy.
    See :
    Ancient Rome.
    Ancient China.
European countries during their Religious Civil Wars.
    Russia/USSR.
    Germany.
    China.
    Cambodia.
    Amongst others.

The USA was the antidote to thousands of years of Totalitarianism in it’s many different guises.

But that is what they envision here – ‘The United Totalitarian Dominionist Christian Corporate States of America.’
Where every person is a serf, and every serf knows his/her place. And if they forget, the Church will remind them of their obligation to the State.

But that is what the knuckle-dragging, cave-dwelling reptilian brain wants – control via total subjugation. My tribe is better than yours, and you and yours must either submit totally to that superiority – OR DIE!

Yes, eventually these Totalitarian states all crumble and fall. Or get brutally defeated.
But think of the cost in Yes, eventually these Totalitarian states all crumble and fall.
But think of the cost in lives crushed and lost as it ascends, descends, and then breaks apart.
