    Poor sod.
He he lost his Kingdom, he lost his life – did they, by chance, find a horse nearby?

“In the deep tarmac of the carpark buried….”

    Or something like that.

    A Mustang!
    A Mustang!

    My Kingdom, for a Mustang!

No horse, but they did find the remains of a 1954 Plymouth Belvedere.

    It was out of gas.

:D I had been reading about this for some months, as I love history and archaeology both. It is exciting if they have definitely identified him.

OT, but I had to mention this:
Gun sales rise after Obama releases picture of him skeet-shooting.
So the gun-nuts think they’re _skeet_?!

Now is the winter of our discontent turned, not into any kind of summer exactly, just into a day where the news is a bit more interesting than usual ….I think the curved spine made it easy to tell.

And the reference to the 1954 Plymouth Belvedere was hilarious…

Unfortunately, even the Shakespeare is eclipsed by a scene from the first season of “Blackadder”.

Though it’s only a century old, this story is in some ways counterpoint to the one referenced here.

The question is – will I live long enough to find out what happened to Jimmy Hoffa.

One of the world’s greatest de-composers.

Not exactly as important as finding Richard the III’s remains, but Reg Presley, the Troggs lead-singer on “Wild Thing” has died, at age 71.

And so, another piece of my long-gone youth will be buried.

Btw, erinyes, he didn’t write that song, so I don’t think he’ll be de-composing.

I know. Sometimes I feel like a ghost already.

Liberals are such kind people. There has not been one single solitary mention of the world’s probable reaction centuries hence when Dick Cheney’s Borg-machine heart implant is unearthed. Yet.

Cheney is going down in history with a remembrance comprable to Vlad the Impaler. Legend will have it that he feasted on human body parts to sustain his existence. He didn’t need fresh young virgins…any old corpse could provide him nutritional value.

And proving that he actually was a hunchback, by the way.

    Shakespeare didn’t make it up.
