Jared’s Got Some ‘Splainin’ to Do

-->
Trump Maladministration

Jared Kushner, May 2017:

Jared Kushner and Russia’s ambassador to Washington discussed the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin, using Russian diplomatic facilities in an apparent move to shield their pre-inauguration discussions from monitoring, according to U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports.

Ambassador Sergey Kislyak reported to his superiors in Moscow that Kushner, son-in-law and confidant to then-President-elect Trump, made the proposal during a meeting on Dec. 1 or 2 at Trump Tower, according to intercepts of Russian communications that were reviewed by U.S. officials. Kislyak said Kushner suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications.

The meeting also was attended by Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser.

Jared Kushner, July 2017:

President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, denied in a statement Monday that he suggested setting up a “back channel” communication line to the Kremlin that would bypass US intelligence agencies and persist after Trump was inaugurated.

But Kushner acknowledged in the statement, which came ahead of a closed-door appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee, that he asked Russia’s ambassador to the US in December whether the Trump transition team could use Russia’s embassy to communicate privately with Moscow about Syria.

Jared Kushner, November 2017:

The President’s son-in-law and trusted adviser Jared Kushner failed to provide Senate investigators with emails he was forwarded about WikiLeaks and an invitation to contact Russia through a “backdoor,” two senior lawmakers claim.

In a letter to Kushner’s lawyer Abbe Lowell, Senator Chuck Grassley and Senator Dianne Feinstein reveal that Kushner received emails in September 2016 about WikiLeaks and about a “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite.” …

The Senate lawmakers say they know of the existence of the documents from other witnesses in their investigation. Yet Kushner, who says he is cooperating, has not produced them.

“There are several documents that are known to exist but were not included in your production. For example, other parties have produced September 2016 email communications to Mr. Kushner concerning WikiLeaks, which Мr. Kushner then forwarded to another campaign official,” the letter reads. “Likewise, other parties have produced documents concerning а “Russian backdoor overture and dinner invite” which Mr. Kushner also forwarded.”

It’s not clear from the article exactly what happened when or who issued the invitation to Kushner, although it may have been Sergei Millian, a Russian-American businessman who may be one of the sources included in the Steele dossier. But it certainly sounds like the backdoor-backchannel thing was something Kushner at least tried to set up.

" But it certainly sounds like the backdoor-backchannel thing was something Kushner at least tried to set up."

I eagerly await the works of fiction from (DUMB)FUX "news:," Reich-Wing talk radio, conservative Op-ed pundits,  tRUMP's PR team of lyiong chumps, and internet bots and trolls, slowly explaining to us Libtards how this is neither treasonous nor traitorous.

They may try to say that EVERY POTUS in the recent past (70+ years ?) had a direct encoded line with a special phone dedicated to conversations between the leaders of the US and USSR/Russia.

    True.  But this ain't that!

This arrangement was meant to be a secret connection hidden from the US Intelligence agencies, Congress, and "We the people…"

I doublt if Donaldski Trumpovich and Vlad would have used it to talk about sports, literature, TV shows, or fashion models (ok, well…  maybe the last one).

So, why would Donaldski need it?

    Hmm….

Could it be so he could get instructions from his BFF, Vlad?  I'm sure that Vlad wouldn't allow a f*'in imbecile like Donaldski to make judgements on his own.

But I'm sure our patriotic, flag-waving, flag-pin wearing, liberTEA and freeDUMB loving conservatives are up to the challenge of trying to sell tRUMP's and their treason as some Libtard plat to discredit the whole lot of them!

Just please let me know beforehand when it's "story time," conservatives.

I'll want to make sure that I have enough popcorn to last for a while.

Regarding the secure communications that Jarad tried to set up even before Trump was sworn in, there is this clip which explains the relationship:

I think he needs to be locked up and throw away the keys.  He's proven to be a congenital liar just like his father-in-law.

Well, when it comes to son in laws I'd prefer one like Jared who takes the initiative as opposed to one who lays around like a slug playing video games all day long.

I'm hearing that Mueller issued subpoenas in October for documents from the Trump campaign. They could be the same documents that the Senate Intelligence Committee is trying to procure. I'm also hearing that subpoenas kinda put a crimp on the foot dragging and game playing with something called obstruction of justice for failure to comply.

Winter is coming..time to turn up the heat.

OT:  I read that some Alabama pastor is complaining that it is the women who are the predators/perverts/pedophiles as he sees them chasing young men down the road all the time.  I say it's probably their mothers chasing them with a switch.

grannyeagle…Was that Alabama pastor's name Elmer Gantry? I wouldn't be putting too much stock in what some back water Alabama snake handler has to say.

"Beware of the harlot all saucy and pert, for she seeks to devour you."
