The wingnut reaction is interesting. Yesterday – before the flaming RWNJ was caught – the wingnuts were absolutely convinced it was a hoax, a false flag operation. Today, the false flaggers have crawled back under the rocks, and now we see the "whatababoutists" – the ones who think this is no different from the few acts of left wing violence, and who are demanding, demanding I tell you! an explanation.
I'm not sure if today's "patriots" realize the fight is over power, not freedom, over the degree to which we get to suffer the Iron Law of Oligarchy right here in America in our own lifetimes. To their credit (though I’m fans of neither) Dave Rubin interviewed Tucker Carlson who stated that the current power imbalance between corporatists and workers is not a good thing. Of course they blamed the Dems, who gave up fighting for workers some time ago.
I really think Trump's statement"I'm a nationalist" was a trigger event. Also Republican party inviting proud boy types in to their ranks.
