  1. 750 laws??? WOW…and thats just what we know about…What will it take to make bush enablers wake up? How could it be that they love bush more then the system that we know as America?..How can people allow this and claim to love America? Even if you agree bush should have broken 750 laws… it leaves the door open for any president , from now on , to break whatever laws he/she pleases…

    If bush doesn’t think any other laws apply to him, I am thinking he won’t leave in 2008.. why should he?Elections are in the constitution: thus they are “old law “and they don’t take into account the right of the president to deal with the war on terror anyway he sees fit, including calling off the elections to show his resolve to the terrorists.

  2. Just saw a PBS special from 2003 from Watergate. It showed a time when many Republicans had honor and knew to be ashamed of the President and his men. It is too bad that those attributes seemed to have died with that generation of Republicans.

  4. It certainly appears we have a “soft” dictatorship.The mid term elections should prove interesting, with Bush’s approval in the crapper and a general feeling of malaise all over our country.
    It’s a shame people care more about personal finance than about mass murder, but what you don’t see can’t hurt you….
    until it’s too late to turn the ship around.An iceberg looms in the darkness.

  5. I was wondering when the MSM would catch on to this travesty. Little attention has been paid to Bush’s “signing statements”. I only hope the rest will follow the Globe’s lead and make this a top priority in their coverage.

    Obviously, the only thing that will reign in “dear leader” is a major shake-up in Congress in November. If this does not happen then shame, shame, shame on the people in this country.

    It was bad enough that this guy stole the vote in 2000 but it was the sheer ignorance of a slim majority in this country that re-elected him in 2004. They voted against their best interests then and if they do it again they will get what they deserve. Unfortunately, the rest of us will also get what they deserve.

    You know the expression – “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me” (W even screwed that up in a speech). Is there a saying for fooling me a third time?

  6. Bush Rules and he doesn’t give a damn about laws and rules. Remember his childish statement, “I’m the Decider”. Also he has the fat Italian Supreme who is his favorite Supreme on his side.
