Blogology

Some researchers at the University of Kansas are compiling data on blogs and blog readers. You can help the cause by taking a brief survey. Click here and choose Mahablog from the drop-down menu. (I notice that Mahablog comes right after Little Green Footballs on the drop-down menu, but I’m trying to be big about it.) You will be anonymous, the researchers tell me.

  1. I’m done too.. I don’t think that sites like Michelle Malkin’s should be considered a blog because she doesn’t have an interactive comments format. She just spews her bile upon her readers and she only dispenses an occasional hat tip to the morons who are jockeying for her approval or acknowledgment. Unrequited hate?

  2. done….anything for our pals at KU…rock chalk JAYHAWKS!.My other half comes from that neck of the woods and attended KU…what a great school!I have not been back “home” in ages but didn’t they open some huge Bob Dole wing there a while back?

  3. The link goes of University of Wisconsin, not Kansas.

I filled out much of it anyway, refusing to answer some of the questions which might throw out the whole thing. Who knows.

However, the guy who is directing the project really is at the U of Kansas.

  5. “Didn’t they just open a Bob Dole Wimg?”

I’ll bet it’s on the right-wing side of the road…

  6. My nephew’s headed off to KU in a couple years, so yeah, Go Jayhawks! (Wasn’t Lawrence, KS founded by abolitionists?)

I liked the quiz part where we had to choose the office-holders prior to the ’06 midterms. I wonder how those results will turn out in relation to the respondent’s political affiliation?

  7. “Wasn’t Lawrence, Kansas founded by Abolitionists”…

Sorta…Started out as a “free-soil” settlement and grew up from there…

It’s also the scene of the infamous raid by Quantrill’s band of cuthroats…Pretty much leveled the place…

Mo-Kan rivalries go back a long, hard way…
