War Showdown Update

For the past several days I’ve been meaning to write about the anticipated showdown between Congress and the White House over the Iraq “emergency” supplement appropriation. So here we go, in chronological order so you can see how the issue is developing:

  1. To quote from one of my favorite episodes of Deep Space Nine: “Lions and Geigers and bears…. Oh my.”
