After I commented on the ‘other’ blog that it would be ‘odd’ to tarnish the UofM and/or its entire staff because of the insensitive behavior of one of its faculty, I went upstairs and thought about what I had said.
Shortly it came up that ‘odd’ was the wrong word. Odd implies unusual and it certainly isn’t unusual for whole groups of people, or the entire citizenry of a nation, or an entire belief system, or religion, or ethnic group, or gender group, or political party…the list is endless, to be thrown under the bus for the infractions of a few (or the whacked beliefs or ideas of a few.)
Visiting a zen site is quite enlightening.
Hilarious. But I don’t blame the guy for giving it back. people are crazy.
