  1. I read the first few lines. I could read no more.
That he is a fool is evident. That he is an idiot is apparent. Jesus, he makes Kristol look like a “f”in’ rocket scientist…
But, how can you be such a bad writer and have a column at a major newspaper?
No wonder they’re losing readers. They know how to read!

  2. Ah, don’t be so hard on Jonah. He’s trying to acknowledge an Obama victory in the only way he knows how. It’s only natural for him to voice his resentment while he’s forced to eat some humble pie.

And a preemptive congratulations to President Barack Obama!

  3. We have reached the point in this election where one wonders if the esult of the polls will work to keep a discouraged GOP at home – or cause an overconfident Obama crowd to let the turtle win while we nap.

Let me explain my position. I bet on an Obama win by 10% in the popular vote & 350 Electoral votes. I got money riding on this troops, so get your lazy asses to the polls on TUESDAY!

  4. I learned some time ago to not waste any time on Jonah Goldberg.

The left has its own version of this. I was recently chastised on another blog for being so charitable as to suggest we give Obama a chance. This was in response to the Nader-like argument about how both parties are sellouts to corporate rule. True, but no one knows what will happen. Let history be written first.

At least the hardcore left position is based on a set of facts, but just being too rigid, blinkered and impractical with them. The right invents stuff out of whole cloth to support their preconceived notions.

  5. Doug…I hope you win your bet. I expect Obama to meet those figures you quoted, and to win by a landslide. McCain already knows he’s going to lose..but I don’t think he knows how sound a thrashing he’s gonna get.
