  1. For a longer version than Krugmans, read Al Franken’s great book, “Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them:

I think the last Republican President who wasn’t a serial liar was Ike.
And though I didn’t agree with him on much, I do have some admiration for Chuck Hagel, who, while the rest of his party members in Congress had to wear weight-lifting belts to carry all of the Bush Mis-administration’s water, he told some truths – though they fell on deaf ears.

Mitt will continue to lie until the MSM starts calling him on it. And, that’s unlikely to happen. Not after the kerfuffle the NY Times editor started. The righties cried “That lying Liberal rag, the NY Times, now wants it’s Liberal liar reporters to lie when Mitt’s telling everyone the truth!”, which is, of course, A LIE!!!
And so, the spinners spin, the liars lie, and the MSM merry-go-round takes another turn, while we the people get more nauseous.

  2. Anyone who can get past, “I like being able to fire people” with a disinterested shrug will be able to swallow Mitt’s lies also with a shrug.

(It’s fascinating that so many distrust the media while at the same time trust the media when they don’t call politicians on the plethora of lies they spew.)

  3. “Anyone who can get past, “I like being able to fire people” with a disinterested shrug….”

That is, the hate-filled GOP “I got mine” “base”.

Mittens offers enough bilious opinion, in my view, to disqualify him for ANY office, even if we totally ignore the accuracy of all his alleged statements of fact. His latest “envy” meme is disgusting. We, in the middle class, are scared to death of falling into poverty through no fault of our own; we’re not looking for yachts and tummy-tucks.
