Mittens and Another Damn Lie

The facts: Per Judd Legum, “Since 2005, Ohio has had in person early-voting in the three days prior to the election. This year, however, the Republican legislature in Ohio eliminated early voting during this period, except for members of the military.”

The Obama campaign sued the state of Ohio to restore early voting for everyone. Here is the brief. A quote:

A preliminary and permanent order prohibiting the Defendants, their respective agents, servants, employees, attorneys, successors, and all persons acting in concert with each or any of them, from implementing or enforcing lines 863 and 864 of Sec. 3509.03 (I) in HB 224, and/or the SB 295 enactment of Ohio Revised Code § 3509.03 with the HB 224 amendments, thereby restoring in-person early voting on the three days immediately preceding Election Day for all eligible Ohio voters.

The Mittens version of events:

“President Obama’s lawsuit claiming it is unconstitutional for Ohio to allow servicemen and women extended early voting privileges during the state’s early voting period is an outrage,” he said in a statement posted to Facebook Saturday afternoon. “The brave men and women of our military make tremendous sacrifices to protect and defend our freedoms, and we should do everything we can to protect their fundamental right to vote. I stand with the fifteen military groups that are defending the rights of military voters, and if I’m entrusted to be the commander-in-chief, I’ll work to protect the voting rights of our military, not undermine them.”

The above quote is taken from an article in The Hill. You have to read the article nearly to the bottom to find out what the Obama campaign’s lawsuit actually is about. That liberal media strikes again.

  1. Geez, someone tell Mittens about this new-fangled “internet” thing. We can all find out pretty instantly that he is a lying POS.

  2. Tom_B,
Maybe someone needs to tell the MSM about this new-fangled “internet” thing, while they’re at it.

The reporters and their corporate master have a lot of money at stake in keeping this a close election.
    Not that anyone can tell.

It would be nice, though, if someone in that MSM mentioned that the reason the Repubican Ohio State Legislature did what it did, was so that, when the Democrats sued to get everyone their rights back, they could claim it was to curtail the voting rights of active military personel.

Say what you will about those treasonous, traitorous, Republicans corporatist whores, you’ve got to admit, they sure know how to play politics for keeps.
Not like the Democrats, who usually come to a gunfight bearing Silly String, hoping against hope that, somehow or other, the Republicans will tie themselves into knots.

But, I’m glad to say, I’m starting to see some hope for the Democrats, regarding political battles.
    Obama ain’t foolin’ around.
    And neither is Harry Reid.
    At least for now, anyway.
But, you know, that can all change after months of the press saying to Democrats, “How dare you fight back! That’s dirty!”, when they try to jab back, after the Republican’s have rained down countless punches to the kidney’s and kicks to the nuts.

Our MSM is like the old Wrestling refs, who are distracted by something in the crowd, and that’s when the bad guy whacks the other one over the head with a metal folding chair or a pipe, and his manager comes out and uses a cattle prod, and when the good guy retaliates is when the referee turns back, and takes points off the bleeding good guy.

Flying Spaghetti Monster, our MSM SUCKS!!!
Our MSM’s not there too give us news and information – they’re more like a Black Hole for anything except “He-said/She-said,” and gossip.

  3. Too bad Sandusky didn’t have Mitt’s advisers. His defense could have been that all the alleged child victims actually attacked him in the showers.

  4. moonbat: the magic of the marketplace? Sure, as in prestigititation, illusion, evasion and misdirection. Now you see it, now you don’t. The Invisible Hand is quicker than the All-Seeing Eye!
