Rah! Rah! Rah!

I missed Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer’s speech last night, and it’s great. Send this video to anyone you know who’s even thinking of voting for McCain.

Money line: “We simply can’t drill our way to energy independence. If you drilled everywhere, if you drilled in all of John McCain’s backyards, even the ones he doesn’t know he has, that single proposition is a dry well.”

  1. Thanks for posting the whole speech. Bit of a non sequitur, but I’m curious as to who the cadaver-esque to fellow is to Clinton’s right at 13:52. He doesn’t seem to be enjoying himself all too terribly much.

  2. I promised myself that I would only watch C-SPAN coverage since all the networks either talked over or ignored any speaker who didn’t have a national name. Didn’t keep that promise, though, so I missed Gov. Schweitzer. I’ll have to watch this once I get to a YouTube-friendly environment, ’cause I hear it was a scorcher…

Plus I need to see if he has his cow dog “Jag” with him at the podium…

  3. If we win this thing, it’s gonna be the Dems in string ties that put us over the top.

Gov. Schweitzer kinda looks like Tim Russert’s long-lost brother, too. Eerie.

  4. Enough with the house jokes. They were amusing at first, now getting old.
The people who are leaning toward McCain aren’t doing so on the issues.
We need to be tearing him down on his age and declining mental and physical health. The man is not able enough for the job of President.
His mobster-sourced fortune, and the fact that he’s only polling 47% in his home state where they know him best, ought to be issues as well.
