Don’t underestimate the dense. W had two terms in office. Having said that, I’d love to see SP get the next GOP presidential nomination , but I think the somewhat less stupid Huckleberry (but possibly more offensive) is more likely. The nightmare candidate is Romney; he could actually appeal to non-Fox watchers.

And Ferraro was a real game changer. Unlike Chisolm, who was black and ran for President, Geraldine was picked by the powers that be to give at least some oomph to Mondale’s attempt.
