  1. ROFLMAO!!!
    Thanks, maha! 🙂

To me, he looks exactly like what Buster Keaton would look like in a long gray wig.
And he’s pretty good at comedy.
Match him up with Betty White, and let him play her younger boyfriend.

    AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY, WILLIE!!!
You’re still the coolest guy in any room!

  2. Willie Nelson is my GOD… I love love love that man. I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice..Once when he played at the Hells Angels “bentshoe” ranch in Sturgis South Dakota. He played with Waylon, and Jonny Paycheck…LOL…we stood by the stage and passed a bottle back and forth with them as they sang..and we shared a big fattie too! That was the day I also got to ride beside Sharron Barger( Sonny’s ex- he was still in prison then)..tooooo cool..

The second time was here in Des Moines. He played at a small venue called the val air ballroom. After the show he took a brief break in his bus then came out and met EVERY single person who attended the show. He let each person have all the time they wanted to hug, share memories, take pics and just talk. I was so in awe of how wonderful he was to everyone it still brings a tear to my eye as I write. He listened with such interest to every little thing people would say. He asked every single person how they were doing and he actually seemed to care what the answer was.

I pick my friends and my idols with great care. On that night I knew I had picked well. Who he is is more beautiful than his music , if you can imagine that. Did I mention how much I love Willie? (I HATE country music).

Willie is the one person who makes me hope the christians are right about heaven. IF there is a heaven, when I get there , Willie will be there with a big fat tree hangin out of his mouth and he will be “playing me in” with “Angels flyin too close to the ground”..and if there aint no Willie in the afterlife, well then I don’t wanna go!

I love you Wille, I wish we could be blessed with another 80 years of your music.

  3. I just can’t believe he is 80.

If ever there was anyone without a mean bone in his body, it’s Willie Nelson. And “Crazy” is one of the greatest songs ever written.

  4. If ever there was anyone without a mean bone in his body, it’s Willie Nelson.

Yeah, but you’ll aways fine a mean bone in his tour bus. Go Willie! My kinda guy.

White smoke a new wizard…He got got that right.
