Today the John Bolton raid is getting more media attention than the Ghislaine Maxwell transcript and tapes, which are available online. As Rolling Stone put it, Ghislaine Maxwell understood the assignment. She denied she ever saw Trump do anything inappropriate or non-consensual with women. But she also denied she saw Jeffrey Epstein do anything inappropriate or non-consensual with women of any age. She admits she knows now that Epstein was guilty, but says she didn’t observe him abusing women herself. She only knows what she reads in the papers, in other words. And she denied being Epstein’s procurer. She just found him masseuses. That’s all. Basically, she lied her ass off. But she got her reward, a transfer to Club Fed in Texas.
And the Trumpsters released this work of fiction during the traditional Friday afternoon “document dump” time, possibly hoping no one would read it too closely. The MAGAts have decided the case is now closed, of course. But most people aren’t buying it.
The DoJ also sent a bunch of Epstein files — 33,295 pages — to the House Oversight Committee on Friday. But the New York Times is reporting that nearly all of this material was already public.
Representative Robert Garcia of California, the top Democrat on the panel, said that of the files the committee had received, only 3 percent contained new information.
The remaining 97 percent of the pages, he said, had information previously released by the Justice Department, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement or the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s office.
Among those files were video from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York from the night of Mr. Epstein’s death; Supreme Court filings from Ghislaine Maxwell, his longtime associate who is serving a 20-year federal prison sentence; a Justice Department inspector general report on Mr. Epstein’s death; and a memo from Attorney General Pam Bondi to Kash Patel, the F.B.I. director.
So, same old foot dragging.

My guess remains: Maxwell wants out of prison – now. I think Trump is praying that the USSC will set aside her conviction. The transfer to a camp was the "deal" made to keep Maxwell in a "hear-no-evil, See-No-Evil, speak-no-evil" mode until the end of the year. If the USSC passes on her case, then Trump pardons her – or else.
The transcript will be the basis for Trump to declare a grave injustice that he will repair. MAGA will buy it but nobody else will. Of the US citizens who are not in the cult, who will care. I hope a lot of people will care – and vote.
Re Bolton: I do not know how sloppy he is in his document handling. If he screwed up with one document, Trump will try Bolton for High Treason. Obviously, a lot of people ARE too casual about taking stuff home, including Biden, But what Trump did was not careless – it was deliberate and repeated requests for the return of stuff was ignored. BOXES if stuff was discovered and Trump lied about it and tried to conceal much of it.
If Bolton gets charged, there may be a problem getting twelve people to return a guilty verdict if all indications are that it was a careless mistake.
I'm looking for a T-shirt that says, "Old White Hippy – Still Votes." And perhaps a fist with the middle finger directed at Miller.
The resistance needs to mobilize against the militarization of Blue cities as Trump intends to do, WITHOUT attacking the troops. IMO, we NEED the National Guard, and if necessary the regular Army to refuse illegal orders. Making enemies of those guys before the issue gets to court is a bad strategy. Trump is making enemies (I think) in the Pentagon by shafting minorities and women. IMO, most guys in the military do not resent taking orders from competent senior commanders, regardless of gender or complexion. This is the legacy of the post-Nam era. I got nothing but my gut that tells me commanders in the field would love a STOP order from a federal judge if/when they are directed to use force against civilians for exercising free speech. But before we get to that point, protesters need to get the message to NOT go after the guys in green. A really good strategy will be to engage them in conversation when and where they are deployed about protecting citizens as their primary function..
Put this on my substack earlier. I am sorry it is so long;
Some cannot do all, but all can do some.
The Danes defeated Germany’s occupation with commandments similar to the first 10. The Nazis were much smarter, and more ruthless than our home-grown occupiers. Number 11 is based on the responses the Czechs and Slovaks used against the Russians.
The occupiers look and sound like us, but they are not us. Believe them when they seem unkind, greedy, cruel, destructive, and stupidly malicious. You, me, us, and them are the only hope we have.
AT WORK
1.Do not work for the occupiers. That would be Amazon, Tesla, Walmart, the too-big-to-fail banks. PayPal, etc. etc. Work for the independents. Don’t work where you cannot know / recognize the boss.
2. Make mistakes and errors on any job done for the occupiers. Machine products might be off by a thousandth, the paint color by a tenth of a shade. Supply orders to be misdirected, without signatures.
3. Work slowly and to-the-rule for the occupiers. Make sure, over and over again, every “T” is crossed and every “I” dotted. Ask for clarification and reassurance. Make sure every decision is based on referenced policy. No shortcuts or work-arounds.
4. Don’t do preventive maintenance on systems of production for the occupiers. Do not lube the system, any system, physical or social. Do not store spare parts. Do not create workarounds or short cuts.
5. Delay, misplace, and make illegible paperwork needed for profiteering. Misspell names, materials, destinations. Fail to make sufficient copies. Require or request too many signatures from too many people. File incorrectly but request review.
6. Delay and mis-direct supply-chain transport. Send the truck, train or package to the wrong city, same name, wrong state. Slow the just-in-time and prioritize the unimportant.
AT HOME
7. Boycott and do not support any product, shop, or outlet of the occupiers. Mom and Pop Bodegas and independents are your friends, as are farmers’ markets, CSAs, and co-ops. Don’t go to Vegas.
8. Protect those targeted, chased, and bullied by the occupiers. If it is about skin color or accent, demand warrants, shield numbers, photo license plates. Give rides away from danger. Record everything.
9. Track occupying forces and warn those in their path. https://www.iceinmyarea.org/en, https://www.icemap.dev/, ICEBlock app
10. Sing, dance and demonstrate joy in resistance. Don’t borrow trouble. Bad-boy Brown and Blue cannot terrify you if you are a dancing, singing fool. The first follower is crucial.
OUT AND AROUND
11. When face to face with occupiers, say to them “Won’t say”, “Don’t know”, “Won’t show”, “Don’t care”, “Won’t or can’t do”, but “I will record”.
Not me but what is known as a Florida man, but not the notorious kind, cited this from a great doctor but not THE great doctor in a comment recently to and opinion piece. Joseph Folz gets credit for the citation. Let us recognize it as both the comment of the day and the times.
OT, you've got to meet this guy, running against Susan Collins of Maine. Straight talking, high energy – this is how it's done.
Another rising star, James Talarico of Texas, a Christian middle school teacher, who talks directly to the sclerosis in the Democratic Party, around 3:00. Especially hear him around 4:20. "So many divisions in this state and in this country are manufactured".
I have been waiting decades to hear this from political leaders. Both of these guys are directly calling out the oligarchy and billionaires.
Yes! I like the guy running against Collins! I hope he wins.
One thing I know from my legal education (as a defendant) is that official legal proceedings are public. By that I mean trials and sentencing. Transcripts are available for a fee. So ALL the testimony in Maxwell's trial is public record. I didn't attend the trial, nor have I seen a transcript, nor a specific summary of the victim testimony that put Maxwell away. I understand some of the victims are getting together in DC to speak out.

The media is looking for a new "angle" to write about the Epstin-Maxwell-Trump triangle. Gee, why not focus on the victims and the specific details of recruitment, training, and the network of abusers. Here's a REAL clue to follow – what were Epstein's financial dealings? Transactions not linked to the transfer of tangible property may point to the ''sale' of less tangible services of special value by young teens.
Ah yes, the money. A lot of money.
As best as I can remember hearing yesterday on air from a credible source and knowledge of the cases and evidence.
Amounts over a Billion Dollars.
Almost 50 bank accounts
Some Russia based banks
and, of course, no other indictments or arrests of what must have been quite an operation.
Quite the cover-up too it seems.
The sheer number and $amounts of these transactions is the elephant in the dining room. It's gonna come out.

Dominos are typically black and white, and so was domino theory. We watched the films in school when the teacher could figure out how to run the projector, the film was mended, or the kid that knew how to thread the projector was present. The film was in black and white too, with the hand of communism very black and greedy, gobbling up country after country. That was then this is now. The film was 8mm and the future was metric.
Now is different. Now some of our country's politicians try to aid Russian land grab, and we still have little that is metric. The 8mm projector is a thing of the past and now we have all manner of new tech the teachers can't run. Russia has not changed though it is still trying to gobble up countries. Kleptocracy has replaced a lot of Communism with Oligarchs owning the businesses the state used to run in Russia and the state is trying to run and own chunks of businesses in the land of free market capitalism turned south in the US of A. which is still stuck on black and white but with a rainbow of discrimination to choose from now. Running on.
Viet Nam is not divided anymore and remains independent to a large degree. Was it ever a domino that could fall one has to wonder. That black hand in the movies now appears to have grabbed Washington D.C. in a sneak attack. The plan now is to make Intel company 10% Communist. Once they got Coke to put real sugar back in the US version you should have known that was coming. Coke sponsored the FedEx Championship over the weekend, but the ads focused on Coke Zero. A divided Coke for a divided country, I guess. The Coke of America is either the old Mexican Coke or Coke Zero it seems, making the future Gulf of Zero a real possibility. Enough digression. A domino of any color combination would work just as well if not better. That's my domino theory. Enough.
