  1. I can’t believe you said that. Yes, I laughed. And I will probably repeat it.

    But I have no class.

  2. I first learned about the Dr. last August when a bio-documentary and a bio-movie (with Al Pacino) appeared on HBO. It just so happened that fall I took a General Ethics course, and lo and behold physician-assisted suicide came up as one of our topics. It stirred much debate, and I was glad to have seen those movies about Jack before hand.

He was an interesting person to say the least, and his contributions to end of life care were great indeed.

  3. I thought he was right and agreed with what he did…even if others thought he was playing God.

  4. People deserve dignity in death, as well as in life.

I thought what he did was valuable for society, and that years from now, physician assisted death will be much like gay rights – something that will be more and more accepted.

But right now, ‘The Jesus Buttinski’s,’ and their Christianist’s in Congress want to regulate everything from ejaculation to death. From the time someone comes, to the time someone goes.
“And don’t you DARE enjoy one f*cking second of being here!!! Yeah YOU! We’ve got our eye ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Sorry, that should read “The Born-again Buttinski’s.”

I don’t think Jesus, if he were to return, would butt in to too much.
Or care much about what the Born-again’s care about.
And I think he’d wonder why those ‘buttinski’s’ care so much about fetus’s, while billions starve or go hungry around the planet.
