Yeah, He’s a Moron

From what I’ve seen Trump has managed to not make a complete ass of himself in Las Vegas today, which is a triumph compared to yesterday in Puerto Rico, where he did make a complete ass of himself.  See Charles Pierce, “Trump’s Puerto Rican Air Ball.

This morning NBC News reported that Tillerson had called Trump a “moron” at some meeting with other administration officials, so Tillerson had to present himself to the public and recite a statement about the glory that is Trump today. I actually felt sorry for him. The guy used to be a titan of industry, and now he’s just a common court eunuch.

But he never said he didn’t call Trump a moron.

You got that right! I feel sorry for Tillerson only in the respect that he had to surrender his dignity in a public setting. It’s painful to watch a man grovel. Now he’s just another Trump bootlicker like Sessions..

  2. Well, I don’t feel sorry for Tillerson. If he had any self-respect, he would resign. He chose to surrender his dignity and for what? I don’t understand these people. And how does being CEO of a big oil company qualify him for Sec. of State? He said he didn’t know Trump before so how did Trump pick him and if he didn’t, who did? My wish is to be able to shape shift into a fly whenever I wanted and to have super flying powers and hang out on the walls of the White House, Congress Offices, etc., etc. If I ever accomplish that, I will let y’all in on what I find out.

  3. “Trump is a moron” is news? Hasn’t everyone with higher than a kindergarten education known that since he hit the campaign trail? What does it say about a person who willingly signs on with such an administration? Someone whose chief credential consists of having been chief of a large, evil corporation hostile to the United States’ interests?

Nonetheless, I kind of feel sorry for the guy. Maybe he had some kind of altruistic motivation for signing on….. atonement for working for an evil corporation…. who knows?

He would have done better if he’d received a public flogging as penance like King Henry II. At least that way his sin would be behind him and he wouldn’t have to suffer a constant public humiliation delivered from the lips of a moron.
