How Many Valuable Allies Has Trump Insulted Lately?

This happened at a Hamptons fundraiser last week:

Of his fundraising visit, Trump went on to say, “I love coming to the Hamptons, I know the Hamptons well, everyone here votes for me but they won’t admit it.”

And of his tough stance on trade tariffs and US military aid, Trump told a story of going as a boy to collect rent checks with his father, adding, “It was easier to get a billion dollars from South Korea than to get $114.13 from a rent-controlled apartment in Brooklyn, and believe me, those 13 cents were very important.” …

…Trump also made fun of US allies South Korea, Japan and the European Union — mimicking Japanese and Korean accents — and talked about his love of dictators Kim Jong Un and the current ruler of Saudi Arabia. …

… Talking about South Korea, Trump said it makes great TVs and has a thriving economy, “So why are we paying for their defense. They’ve got to pay.” He then mimicked the accent of the leader Moon Jae-in while describing how he caved in to Trump’s tough negotiations.

Here’s my favorite part:

On his remarkable friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, “I just got a beautiful letter from him this week. We are friends. People say he only smiles when he sees me.”

That may actually be true.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there.

Turning to Japan, Trump then put on a fake Japanese accent to recount his conversations with Shinzo Abe over their conversations over trade tariffs.

Trump spoke about his friendship with Abe and how fascinated he was with Abe’s father, who had been a kamikaze pilot. Trump asked Abe if the kamikaze pilots were drunk or on drugs. Abe said no, they just loved their country. Trump remarked, “Imagine they get in a plane with a half a tank of gas and fly into steel ships just for the love of their country!”

How big of an ass do you have to be to say stuff like that to the bleeping prime minister of Japan? When Trump is finally gone the U.S. is going to have to spend the remainder of century apologizing for him.

  1. Trump takes moron to a new level.  The people in that room had to have been cringing with embarrassment.  He says he's not racist but is so unaware that mimicking the voices of others like that IS racist under the circumstances.  Archie Bunker had more self awareness than this loon.

The greed of the people in that room must be boundless, that they're willing to give money to this oblivious idiot to embarrass this country for another four years, to get another tax cut.

    • I would not by any means assume that the people in that room were embarrassed. By extension, I would not by any means assume that any of them are any smarter than Trump is. They may be, but there's no reason to assume it.

  2. From the office of Kelly Anne Conway:

    For immediate release:

What's the problem? Did The president puke in the Japanese PM's lap or something? Of course not. The president is a great man, a brilliant negotiator who never pukes!

  3. I got a letter from Melania Trump today. She wants me to sign a presidential pledge of support and include any amount of money that I can afford. You know, $100, $500, $1000, or $2500. and up. Make checks payable to the RNC

She says that ever since Donald put his hand on the bible and pledged to make America great again he's been working like a busy beaver to fulfill that pledge. She also mentioned how you mean spirited liberals, and the biased media, are peddling fake news and trying to distract from what a great job Donald is doing in rebuilding America.

  4. When he's in front of a crowd, Donald "Shecky" tRUMP thinks he's a great stand-up comedian.

Only, he's not funny at all!

He's the very symbol of "The Ugly American!"

    And he's stupid!

But not as stupid as the Hampton's morons paying $250,000 to reelect the worst POTUS in our history.

But when you give money to tRUMP for more tax cuts, you "MORANS!!!," you are also buy the following:

Racism, misogyny, homophobia, Fascism, cruelty, separation of families, insanity, amorality, the degradation of America's standing in the world, and other DEPLORABLE things!!!

I might be able to find some atom of forgiveness for you if you only voted for him in 2016.

But if you vote to reelect him, you are an amoral, unredeemable, bigoted, deplorable moron, and a real piece of shit!

Plus, don't ever say the words "US Constitution" in front of me, YOU DEPLORABLES, because I can't promise that I will leave you with your teeth intact, and without several shattered bones!

  5. I am sure that Trump has a sexual fantasy that drives him.  In what is left of his mind in the throws of dementia praecox his addled mind is obsessed with one thought.  He really wants the queen of right wing hate hags to engage with him in a week or more  of unbridled debauchery true to the Caligula era of Rome.  It would secure his place in history and more.  But now, now, he has pissed her off too.  Without his guiding light what will be his driving force, or will he acquiesce in the dim hope he can appease her with concentration camps and genocide and fulfill his ultimate bucket list nirvana?

Stay tuned to the next episode.  Will she still reject him? Can his addled mind cope with that kind of rejection?   Can the rest of the world the survive this?

She can't agee to that until she finds her tweezers.

      • The queen seems to think his shortcomings are multiple.  The Donald does not take rejection well and his impulse control wanes with his mental decline.  Some deficiencies he cannot overcome by implants, plastic surgery, or strap on devices.  The queen has other fantasies.  Once the authoritarian white nationalist regime Krugman talks about in his piece today is established, the queen has no more use for the likes of him.  For now he is her useful idiot.

  6. As a Canadian, I go out of my way not to buy any fruits or vegetables from the USA ever since we were declared a national security threat.  Petty, I know but it is my little contribution.

  7. Before the reality-based community and polite society apologize to other countries, we'll have to find a way to marginalize the lunatic fringe, which is larger than most of us knew. Trump's talent for harnessing the strength of the insane is his most formidable challenge.

  8. There are so many items on the list of things the US should spend the next century apologizing for that have a higher priority than Trump.  Just to limit the discussion to R presidents, he has yet to lie us into a war.  That makes him a Solon and a Solomon compared to Dubya.

They say that history replays every tragedy as farce.  So far, the presidency of this clown has been much more farce than tragedy, and that's what seems to trigger us, the humiliation of having it rubbed in our faces what criminals we have been under less laughable presidents.  Let's see if Trump gets beyond the so far only retail horror he has created at the border before we assign him a rank in the list of things we should be ashamed of.
